High & Low Pressure Gauges Read Low
1. Refrigerant system charge low.
a. Charge system, then perform leak tests.
b. Check for leaks at fittings, compressor head gasket, and seal.

NO OR FEW BUBBLES IN SIGHT GLASS

High Pressure Gauge Reads High & Low Pressure Gauge Reads Low
1. Blockage in system or expansion valve (12) jammed or blocked.

High Pressure Gauge Reads Too Low & Low Pressure Gauge Reads Too High
1. Receiver-drier (13) blocked or defective.
2. Expansion valve (12) jammed or blocked.

High & Low Pressure Gauges Read High
1. Condenser core (14) blocked.
2. Evaporator core (16) blocked.
3. Expansion valve (12) blocked or jammed.

High Pressure Gauge Reads Normal & Low Pressure Gauge Reads Low
1. Ice formation in system pipes.
2. System hose (17) pinched flat.
3. Plug (18) left in expansion valve.
