Rear Brake Pads

Fig. 6 Rotating piston:

1. Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove wheel assembly.
2. Disconnect brake warning light connector.
3. Remove safety clip and retaining spring, then disconnect both ends of damping spring.
4. Remove pad retaining fork, then the spring and pads.
5. Rotate piston 1/8 turn, Fig. 6, then return to its original position.
6. Clean all components and ensure caliper slides freely.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
