1. Ensure cable stops are correctly positioned and crimped to cable.
2. Pull slightly on the cable until a point of resistance is felt at the beginning of kickdown. The cable stop (5) should be at a distance (X) of 1.5354 inch, Fig. 5.
3. Install kickdown cable on drum, Fig. 6, then turn nuts (6) to obtain a clearance (B) of 0.1969 inch maximum.
