Warranty - Transferred Vehicle Service Agreements
91peugeot02
BULLETIN NO. 431
DATE: NOVEMBER, 1991
SUBJECT: TRANSFERRED VEHICLE SERVICE AGREEMENTS
When General Group International ceased doing business in October, 1990, Maryland Casualty later assigned a third party, Integrated Runoff Insurance Services Corporation (IRISC), to be the new claims administrator.
Recently, owners of certain 1989, 1990, and 1991 Model Year vehicles sold prior to October, 1990 have had their agreements transferred to a second administrator, North American Warranty Services, Inc. (NAWS). These new agreements can be identified by their agreement number, which will have a prefix of either PEU or PGU. When either of these contracts are presented to your dealership, kindly follow the procedures listed below to ensure prompt payment of all claims:
1. Ensure that the repair is a covered repair
2. Identify the type of agreement - obtain a copy of the agreement
3. Determine that the agreement is from North American Warranty Services, Inc.
4. Obtain all relevant vehicle data
5. Call NAWS with repair estimate for authorization:
- Identify vehicle as a Peugeot and provide contract number
- Describe needed repairs, including:
- current labor rate and estimate of labor hours
- parts required and estimate of cost
- applicable state sales tax
- Either authorization will be given or you will be notified that an inspection is necessary
6. Record the authorization number on the repair order
7. Mail the completed claim to:
North American Warranty Services, Inc.

Oakbrook, Illinois 60521
Tel. (800) 462-2452
NOTE: With the exception of these newly issued agreements, all claims and questions regarding the Motoring Plus Program will continue to be addressed through IRISC.
