II. Installation of Power Window Regulator

- Carefully peel back the insulating sheet.

- Remove the manual window regulator as follows:

1. Lower window about 2/3 of its travel and support in place with a block of wood or similar device
2. Remove exterior window seal (1)
3. Partially unclip window channel seal (2)
4. Release guide pin (3) using tool (--).1309 (P/N 9766.34) to compress guide pin tabs, as shown



5. Remove the window glass by pulling upward and outward from the door
6. With a 10 mm socket, remove the five nuts (4) securing the window regulator and remove it through the opening in the door, as shown
- Install the new electric window regulator. Do not install the door glass at this time, as it may obstruct access to some of the electrical connections.
