SUBJECT: MOTORIZED PASSIVE SEAT BELT MAINTENANCE
MODELS: ALL 405's EQUIPPED WITH MOTORIZED PASSIVE RESTRAINTS
As per the maintenance schedule, the motorized passive seat belt tracks must be cleaned and lubricated every 15,000 miles. Perform this service as follows:
- Using a lint-free rag, wipe the old grease from the tracks.
- Apply the fresh grease evenly along the track and operate the seat belt a few times to distribute R.
NOTE: The only lubricant approved for use in these tracks is ISOFLEX TOPAS NB52 (P.N. 0097.33). This lubricant is formulated specially not to attract dirt and dust.
