Subject: 1985 MODEL YEAR - NEGATIVE CAMBER FRONT STRUTS ON VEHICLES WITH LOW PROFILE TIRES


If you are required to verify front end geometry on a 1985 Model Year vehicle, please remember that the negative camber front struts first introduced on the 505 Turbo Gas N9T in March production 1984, have also been fitted on the 1985 XN6 Gas and XD3T Turbodiesel, STI version only.

The following front axle specifications (at curb weight) apply to these models only:


Toe in 0~35' +/- 10' (4 mm +/- 1)
Camber -0~45' +/- 30'
Caster 3~30' +/- 30'
Swivel pin tilt 9~30' +/- 30'
