Subject: 1984 MODEL YEAR CHANGES
The 1984 505 Sedan is now available with 3 levels of equipment detailed throughout this bulletin. They are: GL, S, and STI.
For 1984 there will be two engine types available:
^ XN6 Fuel Injection Gasoline
^ XD2S Turbodiesel
The XD2S Turbodiesel Federal engine will retain the 1983 electropneumatic EGR system.
The California model will incorporate an electronic regulation EGR system, which monitors engine RPM, fuel flow, air flow temperature, and throttle position.
The 505 Station Wagon is being introduced and thereby replaces the 504 Station Wagon. All technical descriptions and specifications may be found in the Launch Brochure, Ref. No. 2907.
The 604 Turbodiesel Sedan remains practically unchanged.
