Subject: REAR WINDOW AND RECEIVER DRIER
Rear Window
Starting with serial number : 0330893 the thickness of the rear window glass for the U.S. model 505 has been reduced to 3 mm. instead of 4.2 mm. The weatherstrip has been modified accordingly.

Note: The glass and weatherstrip can not be interchanged separately.
Receiver Drier
Starting with serial number : 0330383 the receiver drier (P.N. 6457.12) fitted on U.S. model 505 no longer incorporates a Schraeder valve for charging the system. It is suggested that the twin speed fan switch (1) be removed to recharge the air conditioning on diesel models, while on XN6 vehicles, use the valve on the junction block (2) mounted to the expansion valve (see photos below).
Note: Current replacement parts may still have the Schraeder valve fitted to unit.
