Subject: LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL IDENTIFICATION
Since the beginning of the 1982 model year, all Peugeot U.S. models are fitted with limited slip differentials. As a result of this, a new identification has been implemented.
^ An adhesive label affixed to the nose of the differential.
^ A stamping into the right side of the differential nose (representing a partial reproduction of the label).
Type of Differential PB1 PC7 & PC8
Conventional 1 or 2 A or C,E,G,J,L
Limited Slip 3 or 4 B or D,F,H,K,M
