Glove Box Lamp: Service and Repair

INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) STORAGE COMPARTMENT LAMP REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the front floor console trim plate.




2. Pull rearward on the instrument panel (IP) accessory trim plate in order to access the storage compartment lamp.




3. Rotate the socket counterclockwise. Remove the socket from the storage compartment.
4. Remove the bulb from the socket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the bulb to the socket.
2. Place the socket into the storage compartment opening. Press the socket rearward in vehicle to engage the retainer.




3. Install the IP accessory trim plate. Verify that the retainers are fully engaged.
4. Install the front floor console trim plate.
