Transmission Mount Replacement - Front

Installation Procedure





1. Remove the 2 front transmission mount bolts from the transmission.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





3. Position a jack and wood block under the transmission.





4. Remove the through-bolt.





5. Remove the 3 front bracket to cradle bolts.
6. Remove the front bracket.





7. Remove the front transmission mount lower bolt.
8. Remove the transmission mount.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the front transmission mount. Install the front transmission mount lower bolt.
Tighten the transmission mount lower bolt to 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.).





2. Install the front bracket.
Install the 3 bracket to cradle bolts.
Tighten the bracket to cradle bolts to 120 Nm (86 ft. lbs.).





3. Install the through-bolt.
Tighten the through-bolt to 130 Nm (96 ft. lbs.).





4. Remove the jack and block of wood from underneath the transmission.





5. Install the 2 front transmission mount bolts to the transmission.
Tighten the front transmission mount bolts to 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.).
6. Lower the vehicle.
