Right Front (Coupe)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the lower quarter trim panel.
2. Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide cover.
3. Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide bolt.
4. Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide.




5. Remove the front seat belt anchor bolt.




6. Remove the front seat belt retractor bolt.
7. Pull upward on the retractor in order to disengage the retractor.




8. Route the seat belt through the T-slot in the upper quarter trim.
9. Remove the front seat belt retractor assembly from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Remove any twists in the seat belt webbing before final assembly.




1. Install the seat belt retractor assembly to the vehicle.
2. Route the seat belt through the T-slot in the upper quarter trim.




3. Insert the top of the retractor into the mounting slots and pull the retractor downward in order to install the retractor.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the front seat belt retractor bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).




5. Install the front seat belt anchor bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).




6. Install the front seat shoulder belt guide to the vehicle.
7. Install the front seat shoulder belt guide bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the belt bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

8. Install the front seat shoulder belt guide cover. Ensure that the unit is retained.
9. Inspect the seat belt assembly for correct operation.
10. Install the lower quarter trim panel.
