Disassembly and Reassembly

Disassembly Procedure





1. Inspect the hydraulic pump (1) for leaks.

Notice: Do not attempt to disassemble the hydraulic pump (1).

2. If pump (1) needs replacement, remove the reservoir assembly. Refer to Power Steering Reservoir Replacement - Off Vehicle.

Assembly Procedure





1. After replacing the damaged pump assembly (1) with the new pump assembly (1), assemble the pump reservoir.
2. Refer to Power Steering Reservoir Replacement - Off Vehicle.
