AIR Shut-Off Valve Replacement - Bank 2

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the vacuum line (3) from the shutoff valve.




2. Remove the shutoff valve to the outlet pipe and the bracket fasteners.




3. Remove the shutoff valve (1) from the bracket and the hose.
4. Clean the gasket surfaces as necessary.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the shutoff valve (1) to the bracket and the hose.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




2. Install the shutoff valve fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).




3. Install the vacuum line (3) to the shutoff valve.
