Throttle Body Heater Hose Replacement - OutletRemoval Procedure
1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield.
2. Remove the throttle body air inlet duct.
3. Remove the accelerator controls cable bracket.
4. Partially drain the coolant from the cooling system.
5. Remove the throttle body heater outlet hose clamp (2) from the surge tank inlet hose pipe.
6. Remove the throttle body heater outlet hose (1) from the surge tank inlet hose pipe (3).
7. Remove the throttle body heater clamp from the throttle body.
8. Remove the throttle body heater outlet hose from the throttle body.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the throttle body heater outlet hose to the throttle body.
2. Install the throttle body heater outlet hose clamp to the throttle body.
3. Install the throttle body heater outlet hose to the surge tank inlet hose pipe.
4. Install the throttle body heater outlet hose clamp (1) to the surge tank inlet hose pipe (3).
5. Fill the cooling system with engine coolant.
6. Install the accelerator controls cable bracket.
7. Install the throttle body air inlet duct.
8. Install the fuel injector sight shield.
9. Inspect for leaks.
