HORN REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the right headlamp assembly.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the horn assembly.




4. Remove the horn assembly to frame rail extension mounting bolt.
5. Remove the horn assembly from the frame rail extension.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the horn assembly to the frame rail extension; insert the horn anti-rotation tab into the slot on the frame rail.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the horn assembly to frame rail extension mounting bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the horn assembly to frame rail extension mounting bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).




3. Connect the electrical connector to the horn assembly.
4. Install the right headlamp assembly.
5. Close the hood.
