Mix-Blend Mode

When the driver selects the MIX-BLEND mode, air delivery is divided equally between the floor and windshield outlets. A small amount of air will be delivered out the side window vents. The A/C compressor will come on automatically. The HVAC control module will ground the mix-blend mode valve solenoid control circuit. When the solenoid is grounded, vacuum is supplied to the mode actuator. The actuator retracts, opening the defrost and heater doors.
