Engine Mount Replacement - FrontRemoval Procedure
1. Remove the cooling fan assembly.
2. Remove the left (front) exhaust manifold heat shield.
3. Remove the left (front) upper engine mount nuts.
4. Install the engine support fixture.
5. Use the engine support fixture in order to raise the engine.
6. Raise and suitable support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
7. Remove the left (front) lower engine mount nuts.
8. Remove the left (front) engine mount.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the left (front) engine mount to the left (front) engine mount bracket.
2. Loosely install the left (front) upper engine mount nuts.
3. Connect the engine wiring harness to the retainer near the starter motor.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Use the engine support fixture in order to lower the engine.
6. Raise the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
7. Install the left (front) lower engine mount nuts.
Tighten the left (front) lower engine mount nuts to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Remove the engine support fixture.
10. Install the left (front) exhaust manifold heat shield.
11. Install the cooling fan assembly.
