Coolant Heater Replacement - Right

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





2. Disconnect the engine right coolant heater cord at the engine right coolant heater (3).





3. Remove the engine right coolant heater bolt.
4. Remove the engine right coolant heater.

Installation Procedure





Important: Align the threaded hole in the engine block with the hole labeled R (1) on the right (rear) coolant heater.

1. Install the engine right coolant heater.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Refer to Engine Block Heater Cord Routing in Service Precautions.





2. Install the engine right coolant heater retaining bolt.
Tighten the engine right coolant heater bolt to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).





3. Connect the engine right coolant heater cord to the engine right coolant heater (3).
4. Lower the vehicle.
