Coolant Heater Replacement - Left

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





2. Disconnect the engine left coolant heater cord (4) at the engine left coolant heater.





3. Remove the engine left coolant heater bolt.
4. Remove the engine left coolant heater.

Installation Procedure





Important: Align the threaded hole in the engine block with the hole labeled L(2) on the engine left coolant heater.

1. Install the engine left coolant heater.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the engine left coolant heater bolt.
Tighten the coolant heater bolt to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).

Notice: Refer to Engine Block Heater Cord Routing in Service Precautions.





3. Connect the engine left coolant heater cord (4) to the engine left coolant heater.
4. Lower the vehicle.
