Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the front door.
2. Use the J 38778 to remove the lower half of the front door weather-strip and retainers.
3. Pull the front door weather-strip from the track to remove the upper hall of the front door weather-strip.
4. Remove the front door weather-strip from the front door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the front door weather-strip to the front door.
2. Apply pressure to the upper half of the front door weather-strip into the track until fully seated.
3. Apply pressure to the lower half of the front door weather-strip and retainers until each retainer is fully seated.
4. Close the front door.
