Front Seat Adjuster Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the power seat adjuster. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (Six-Way Power) (Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (Six-Way Power))Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (Two-Way Manual) (Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (Two-Way Manual)).
2. Remove the power seat adjuster actuator motor bracket to seat adjuster nut.
3. Remove the drive cables. Refer to Seat Horizontal and Vertical Drive Cable Replacement (Seat Horizontal and Vertical Drive Cable Replacement).
4. Remove the electrical connectors from the motors.
5. Remove the power seat adjuster actuator motor assembly from the seat adjuster.


Installation Procedure




1. Position the power seat adjuster actuator motor assembly to the seat adjuster.
2. Install the drive cables. Refer to Seat Horizontal and Vertical Drive Cable Replacement (Seat Horizontal and Vertical Drive Cable Replacement).
3. Install the electrical connectors to the motors.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the power seat adjuster actuator motor bracket to seat adjuster nut.

Tighten the power seat adjuster actuator nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

5. Install the power seat adjuster. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (Six-Way Power) (Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (Six-Way Power))Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (Two-Way Manual) (Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (Two-Way Manual)).
