Rear Fender Liner: Service and Repair

Rear Wheelhouse Liner Panel Replacement




1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the rear tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
3. Remove the rear bumper fascia to rear wheelhouse liner screws.
4. Remove the rocker panel to rear wheelhouse liner screws.
5. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner to rear wheelhouse palnuts.
6. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner from the vehicle.


Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear wheelhouse liner to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the rear wheelhouse liner to rear wheelhouse palnuts.

Tighten the rear wheelhouse liner to rear wheelhouse palnuts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the rocker panel to rear wheelhouse liner screws.

Tighten the rocker panel to rear wheelhouse liner screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the rear bumper fascia to rear wheelhouse liner screws.

Tighten the rear bumper fascia to rear wheelhouse liner screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the rear tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
6. Lower the vehicle.
