Rear Compartment Lid Switch Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the IP switch bank. Refer to IP Multifunction Switch Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
2. Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the fuel door/trunk lid switch from the three IP switch bank retaining tabs.




3. Remove the fuel door/trunk lid switch from the switch bank.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the three retaining tabs of the fuel door/trunk lid switch to the IP switch blank.
2. Apply pressure to the fuel door/trunk lid switch until fully seated in the IP switch blank.
3. Install the IP switch bank. Refer to IP Multifunction Switch Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
