Rear Compartment Lid Ajar Switch Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment lid latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid.
3. Remove the screw that retains the rear compartment lid ajar switch to the rear compartment lid latch.
4. Remove the rear compartment lid ajar switch from the rear compartment lid latch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the rear compartment lid ajar switch to the rear compartment lid latch.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the screw that retains the rear compartment lid ajar switch to the rear compartment lid latch.

Tighten
Tighten the rear compartment lid ajar switch screw to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. Install the rear compartment lid latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid.
4. Close the rear compartment lid.
