Waterleak Test Preparation

1. Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface.
2. Inspect the fit of the auxiliary weatherstrips to the door openings.
3. Inspect the fit of the door weatherstrips to the door openings.
4. Inspect the fit of the doors to the weatherstrips on the door openings.
5. Inspect the rear compartment lid weatherstrip.
6. If it is necessary to determine where to perform a localized leak test, use a water test stand and perform a generalized leak test first. Refer to Generalized Testing (Generalized Testing).
7. If it is evident where to perform a localized leak test, begin the testing at this point. Refer to Localized Testing (Spot Testing) (Localized Testing (Spot Testing)).
