Driver or Passenger Seat Head Restraint Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Raise the head restraint completely.
2. Insert the small rounded tool into the small hole on the side of the head restraint guide.
Push the small rounded tool inwards to release the locking tab.
3. Lift the head restraint out of the head restraint guides.
4. Use the following procedure to remove the two support rods from the head restraint:

* Firmly grasp each rod and rotate it 90 degrees.
* Pull the rods out of the head restraint.

Installation Procedure

1. With the notches facing the front, push the support rods fully into the head restraint.




2. Install the head restraint posts into the head restraint guides.
3. Lower the head restraint completely.
4. Raise the head restraint to ensure the restraint is locked into the guides.
5. Return the head restraint to its original position.
