Sunroof / Moonroof Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Position the sunroof to the full closed position.
2. Remove the headliner.
3. Remove the nylon tie straps located at both ends of the sunroof express module (2).
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from both ends of the express module.




5. Release the sunroof express module retainers from the metal bracket by sliding the sunroof express module toward the left side of the vehicle.
6. Remove the sunroof express module from the sunroof module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the sunroof express module to the sunroof module.
2. Connect both electrical connectors to the sunroof express module.
3. Slide the sunroof express module to the right until fully engaged.




4. Install the nylon tie straps at both ends of the express module (2).
5. Install the headliner.
6. Inspect the sunroof module for proper operation.
