Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet
Removal Procedure^ Tools Required
- J38185 Hose Clamp Pliers
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
3. Remove the lower air baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors (Air Baffle) or Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors (Lower) or Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors (Side).
4. Use the J38185 in order to remove the outlet hose clamp from the radiator.
5. Disconnect the outlet hose from the radiator.
6. Use the J38185 in order to disconnect the outlet hose clamp from the thermostat housing.
7. Remove the outlet hose.
Installation Procedure

- J38185 Hose Clamp Pliers
1. Install the outlet hose.
2. Connect the outlet hose to the thermostat housing.
3. Use the J38185 in order to install the outlet hose clamp to the radiator.
4. Connect the outlet hose to the radiator.
5. Use the J38185 in order to install the outlet hose clamp to the radiator.
6. Install the lower air baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors (Air Baffle) or Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors (Lower) or Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors (Side).
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
9. Inspect for leaks.
