Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the two fuel injector sight shield nuts at the front of the fuel injector sight shield.
2. Lift the fuel injector sight shield up at the front and slide out of the engine bracket.

Installation Procedure





1. Insert the tab of the fuel injector sight shield under the engine bracket.
2. Lower the fuel injector sight shield.
3. Align the holes in the fuel injector sight shield with the studs.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the two fuel injector sight shield nuts onto the studs.
Tighten the fuel injector sight shield nuts to 3 Nm (27 inch lbs.).
