Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the rear door.
2. Use the J 38778 to remove the lower half of the rear door weatherstrip and retainers.
3. Pull the rear door weatherstrip from the track to remove the upper half of the rear door weatherstrip.
4. Remove the rear door weatherstrip from the rear door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the rear door weatherstrip to the rear door.
2. Apply pressure to the upper half of the rear door weatherstrip until the track until fully seated.
3. Apply pressure to the lower half of the rear door weatherstrip and retainers until each retainer is fully seated.
4. Close the rear door.
