Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Lower the front door window to the full open position.
2. Remove the front door trim panel.
3. Remove the front door water deflector.
4. Remove the outside rearview mirror.
5. Remove the front door inner belt sealing strip.
6. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip.
7. Pull the front door window weatherstrip from the front door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Lubricate the vertical window channels with the soap and the water.




1. Align the front door window weatherstrip to the front door. Start in the rear corner and position the weatherstrip in both directions.
2. Apply pressure to front door window weatherstrip into the vertical window channel until fully seated.
3. Raise the front door window to ensure the front door window weatherstrip is positioned properly.
4. Install the front door window outer belt sealing strip.
5. Install the front door window inner belt sealing strip.
6. Install the outside rearview mirror.
7. Install the front door water deflector.
8. Install the front door trim panel.
