Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the front door window to the full open position.
2. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair.
3. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair.
4. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement (Power Mirror Replacement).
5. Remove the front door inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement).
6. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement).




7. Pull the front door window weatherstrip from the front door.

Installation Procedure





Important: Lubricate the vertical window channels with the soap and the water.


1. Align the front door window weatherstrip to the front door.
Start in the rear corner and position the weatherstrip in both directions.
2. Apply pressure to front door window weatherstrip into the vertical window channel until fully seated.
3. Raise the front door window to ensure the front door window weatherstrip is positioned properly.
4. Install the front door window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement).
5. Install the front door window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement).
6. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement (Power Mirror Replacement).
7. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair.
8. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
