Front Side Door Weatherstrip Retainer Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the outside rear view mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement (Power Mirror Replacement).
2. Remove the glass run channel in the area of the front door weatherstrip retainer.




3. Use a small flat-bladed tool to pull the front door window weatherstrip retainer from the front door while pulling the front door window weatherstrip upward.
4. Remove the front door window weatherstrip retainer from the front door.

Installation Procedure

Important: Inspect the plastic clip retainers for damage prior to reinstallation of the window weatherstrip retainer replacing any damaged plastic clip retainers.





1. Align the front door window weatherstrip retainer to the front door.
2. Apply pressure to the front door window weatherstrip retainer until fully seated.
3. Install the glass run channel in the area of the front door weatherstrip retainer.
4. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement (Power Mirror Replacement).
