Front Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

Removal Procedure

1. Open the front door.




2. Use the J 38778 to remove the lower half of the front door weatherstrip and retainers.
3. Pull the front door weatherstrip from the track to remove the upper half of the front door weatherstrip.
4. Remove the front door weatherstrip from the front door.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the front door weatherstrip to the front door.
2. Apply pressure to the upper half of the front door weatherstrip into the track until fully seated.
3. Apply pressure to the lower half of the front door weatherstrip and retainers until each retainer is fully seated.
4. Close the front door.
