Front Seat Replacement - Bucket
Removal Procedure
1. Unsnap , if equipped with a power drivers seat, the following:
* Front adjuster finish cover.
* Rear adjuster finish cover.
2. Remove, if equipped with the 2-way manual driver and passenger seats, the following:
* Unsnap the front adjuster finish covers.
* Rear inner and outer adjuster finish cover screws.
* Rear inner and outer adjuster finish covers.
3. Position the seat(s) completely forward.
4. Reposition the integral sleeve on the anchor to expose the seat belt (retractor side) nut.
5. Remove the seat belt (retractor side) nut.
6. Remove the integral seat belt anchor from the threaded stud on the seat track.
7. Remove the seat adjuster bolts.
8. Tilt the seat(s) forward and disengage the front hook(s) from the floor pan.
9. Disconnect, if equipped, the drivers power seat electrical connector.
10. Remove the seat(s) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the seat(s) to the vehicle.
2. Tilt the seat(s) forwards and engage the front hook(s) to the floor pan.
3. Connect, if equipped, the driver power seat electrical connector.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
4. Install the seat adjuster bolts.
Tighten the seat adjuster bolts to 42 Nm (31 lb ft).
5. Install the integral seat belt anchor to the threaded stud on the seat track.
6. Install the seat belt (retractor side) nut.
Tighten the seat belt (retractor side) nut to 42 Nm (31 lb ft).
7. Reposition the integral sleeve on the anchor to cover the seat belt (retractor side) nut.
8. Position the seat completely rearward.
9. Install, if equipped with the 2-way manual driver and passenger seats, the following:
* Snap the front adjuster track covers in place.
* Rear inner and outer adjuster finish covers.
* Rear inner and outer adjuster finish cover screws.
Tighten the adjuster finish cover screws to 5 Nm (44 lb in).
10. Snap in place, if equipped with a power drivers seat, the following:
* Front adjuster finish cover.
* Rear adjuster finish cover.
11. Inspect the seat(s) to ensure proper operation.
