Rear Folding Seat Back Latch Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Stationary Seatback) (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Stationary Seatback))Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Split Folding Seatback) (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Split Folding Seatback)).
2. Lift the seat frame trim to expose the striker screws.




3. Remove the striker screws (1).




4. Remove the seat back striker (1) and the spacer (2) from the seat back support.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the seat back striker and the spacer on the seat back support.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the seat back striker screws (1).

Tighten the screws to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

3. Reposition the seat frame trim to its original position.
