Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

Removal Procedure




1. Use J 38778 to remove the quarter upper trim by disengaging push-in retainers.
2. Pull the rear door weatherstrip from the pinchweld flange as required.
3. Pull the trim panel to release the retainers.
4. Pull the lower trim panel extension, behind the seat, forward to free the slide in retainer.
5. Remove quarter upper trim from vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the trim panel and push rearward to engage the slide in retainer.
2. Push the trim panel to engage the retainers.
3. Install the push-in retainer and press in until fully seated.
4. Install the rear door weatherstrip.
