Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Remover

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the upper seat belt guide loop attachment nut.
2. Remove the front and rear door weatherstrips from the pinchweld flange as required.




3. Remove the upper trim panel from the center pillar using J 38778 .
4. Remove the upper trim panel from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the upper trim panel to the center pillar.
2. Press firmly on the upper trim panel until the retainers are fully seated.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the upper seat belt guide loop attachment nut.

Tighten the guide loop attachment nut to 42 Nm (31 lb ft).

4. Install the front and rear door weatherstrips.
