Transmission Mount Replacement - Side

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the left front splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Wheelhouse in Body and Frame.
2. Remove the two side mount lower nuts.





3. Support the transmission with a jack and wood block.





4. Remove the two side mount retaining bolts.
5. Raise the transmission slightly and remove the side transmission mount.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the side transmission mount and lower the transmission into position.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the two side mount retaining bolts.
