Heat Shield: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting
2. Remove the front retaining screw





3. Remove the two left side retaining screws





4. Remove the rear retaining screw and the heat shield.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the heat shield and install the rear retaining screw





2. Install the two left side retaining screws





3. Install the front retaining screw.
4. Screws should be fully seated not stripped.
5. Lower the vehicle.
