Bank 1 Sensor 2 (Post-Converter)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the HO2S electrical connector.
3. Remove the electrical connector from the mounting hole.
4. Remove the HO2S from the exhaust pipe.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the correct replacement HO2S is used. HO2S #1(engine) has a 12 Watt heater (AFS-134) and HO2S #2 (post-converter) has an 18 Watt heater (AFS-116). The connectors are identical, however, the sensors should not be interchanged.

1. Install the HO2S in the rear exhaust pipe.

Tighten
Tighten the HO2S to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

2. Install the electrical connector into the mounting hole.
3. Connect the HO2S electrical connector.
4. Lower the vehicle.
