Coolant Heater Cord Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE1. Remove the coolant heater cord retainer from the upper radiator support.
2. Disconnect the left (front) coolant heater cord from the left (front) coolant heater.
3. Cut the left (front) coolant hater cord strap (1) at the engine wiring harness.
4. Remove the right (rear) coolant heater cord from behind the power steering pump (3).
5. Cut the upper right (rear) coolant heater cord strap (2) at the engine wiring harness by the power steering lines.
6. Cut the lower right (rear) coolant heater cord strap (1) at the engine wiring harness by the power steering lines
7. Disconnect the right (rear) coolant heater cord from the right (rear) coolant heater.
8. Remove the coolant heater cord from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the coolant heater cord to the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Engine Block Heater Cord Routing in Service Precautions.
2. Connect the right (rear) coolant heater cord to the right (rear) coolant heater.
3. Install a new lower right (rear) coolant heater cord strap (1) at the engine wiring harness by the power steering lines.
4. Install a new upper right (rear) coolant heater cord strap (2) at the engine wiring harness by the power steering lines.
Notice: Refer to Engine Block Heater Cord Routing in Service Precautions.
5. Install the right (rear) coolant heater cord behind the power steering pump (3).
6. Install a new left (front) coolant heater cord strap (1) at the engine wiring harness.
7. Connect the left (front) coolant heater cord to the left (front) coolant heater.

8. Install the coolant heater cord retainer to the upper radiator support.
