Removal Procedure1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the left front wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
3. Remove the left front splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Wheelhouse in Body and Frame.
4. Install a jackstand and a block of wood to support the transaxle.
5. Remove the thrubolt from,the transmission mount.
6. Unthread the rear upper mount bolt and leave in place.
7. Remove the remaining three mount bolts.
8. Remove the mount.
Installation Procedure
1. Transfer the rear upper mount to the new mount.
2. Position the mount and start the rear upper bolt into the threads.
3. Install the remaining three bolts.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Tighten all four of the mount bolts.
^ Tighten the bolts to 66 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the mount thrubolt.
^ Tighten the mount thrubolt to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).
6. Remove the jackstand and the wood block.
7. Install the left splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Wheelhouse in Body and Frame.
8. Install the left tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
9. Lower the vehicle.
