Brake Proportioning/Combination Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the brake modulator assembly.

IMPORTANT: The gasket (3) between the proportioning valve and the hydraulic modulator assembly must be replaced whenever these components are separated.

2. Remove the brake proportioning valve (2) from the hydraulic modulator assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the brake proportioning valve (2) to the hydraulic modulator assembly.
^ Tighten bolts to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).

2. Install the brake modulator assembly.
