Window Run Channel Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the door water reflector.
3. Remove the door outer belt sealing strip.
4. Remove the door inner belt sealing strip.
5. Remove the lower bolt (2).
6. Remove the upper screw (4).
7. Disengage the front door window front run channel retainer from the door frame.
8. Remove the front door window run channel (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Push on the front door window front run channel (1) in order to engage the retainer to the door frame.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the lower bolt (2).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the upper screw (4).

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the door inner belt sealing strip.
5. Install the door outer belt sealing strip.
6. Install the door water deflector.
7. Install the door trim panel.
