Wiper Motor Cover Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the wiper arm assemblies from the vehicle.
2. Remove the air inlet grille panel from the vehicle.
3. Remove the connector from the wiper motor assembly.
4. Remove the 3 screws and the wiper drive system module from the vehicle.




5. Remove the following components from the wiper motor assembly:
^ Three screws
^ The pulse circuit board
^ The cover assembly

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.




1. Install the pulse circuit board and the cover assembly onto the wiper motor assembly with three screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




2. Install the wiper drive system module onto the vehicle with 3 screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

3. Connect the connector to the wiper motor assembly.
4. Install the air inlet grille panel onto the vehicle.
5. Install the wiper arm assemblies onto the vehicle.
6. Operate the wipers, checking for proper operation.
