AT Oil Cooler Pipes Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





2. Remove the transmission oil cooler lines from the radiator.
3. Remove the transmission oil-cooler lines from the transmission.





4. Inspect the seals for any leakage.

Installation Procedure

Important: The seals must be thoroughly lubricated before installing the pipes. Use Mercon (R) III Automatic Transmission Fluid.

1. Lubricate the cooler pipe seals.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the transmission oil cooler lines to the transmission.
^ Tighten the pipe fitting to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).





3. Install the transmission oil cooler lines to the radiator.
^ Tighten the pipe fitting to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
4. Lower the vehicle.
