AIR Cleaner Assembly Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove retainer screws.
2. Disconnect the retainer clips in the air cleaner cover.
3. Remove the Air filter element.
4. Disconnect the MAF Sensor connector.
5. Remove the air intake duct.
6. Remove the air cleaner assembly retainer screws.
7. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Inspect the air filter element for dust, dirt, water and replace it required.
8. Replace the filter if required

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the air cleaner assembly.
2. Reinstall stall the air filter element.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the air cleaner assembly retainer screws.

Tighten
Tighten the retainer screws to 5-7 N.m (35-45 lb in).

4. Install the air intake duct.
5. Connect the MAF Sensor electrical connector.
6. Install the air cleaner cover assembly, and tighten the cover assembly screws.
